Here is that book cover I've been promising. Since I'm banking on the fact that you would rather look at it than read a post, I'll just say that I would love to hear your first impressions, any and all, anonymous or not. If you tell me yours I promise to tell you mine ...
That cover is going to catch a lot of eyes on the shelf in the bookstores, Laura. Your heroine looks very enticing to readers and to your hero, too. And don't worry about those pet words until you're at the end of the first draft. You can always weed them out on the second go through because the first draft is to get the story down. Of course you may already be to the end and are at the editing stage and that's where you're doing the weeding.
ReplyDeleteBless you, Ann!
ReplyDeleteI'm crazy about your new cover for "The Believer" myself - particularly that hansome Shaker man! I had to chuckle because my dad said "my man" looks like Randy, my husband. And he really does:) Thank you for your encouraging words. You are always a blessing to me.
whoops - i did misspell "handsome". Where are my reading glasses!?
