faith and fiction on fire

Today I'm a guest at Pepper Basham's wonderful blog, Faith and Fiction on Fire, and will be giving away a signed copy of Courting Morrow Little upon its release in June. So if you'd like to be in the running, please pop over and comment. Pepper is a gifted writer herself and has one of the best blogs out there. She's been spotlighting authors recently, asking Liz Curtis Higgs and Kaye Dacus and others the very interesting question of what makes a good kiss come alive in the pages of a book. So hope to see you there! Happy Friday:)

  1. Me, too, Ruth:) Thanks so much for saying so! The clothing, the posture, the background - would make an outstanding book cover!

  4. Thanks, Lori. Strangely enough, I tried to find this pic again to enlarge and couldn't:( Sigh. So will just enjoy the miniature version. I love everything about it, too! Decidedly 18th-century stuff!

  5. Who invented kissing anyway?! Thanks for looking, Lisa. I'd give anything to have the woman's gown and hat!

  12. Nancy, Thanks so much for trying! I have a hard time leaving comments myself sometimes, even on my own blog:) I'm not very computer savvy, I'm afraid. Since I'm a big fan of your crafts I'll come over. And I hope your doggies are well and the one is doing much better!

  13. Mary, I have no doubt you'll think up some wonderful ones of your own:) Can't wait! That waterfall scene kind of snuck up on me in TFD. Didn't plan on that happening and am glad you think it worked! It is one of my favorite scenes. And I have a few favorites in CML, too, and hope you'll agree. Bless you for going over to Pepper's!

  15. Hi Carrie!
I got the picture from Flickr! which you many know about - it's a free site where you can upload great photos like this one. Funny thing is, I saved this one last year and when I did this post I went back and tried to find it to make it larger and now I can't find it at all. It is such a lovely photo, too! Thanks for asking:)
