Today I'm a guest at Pepper Basham's wonderful blog, Faith and Fiction on Fire, and will be giving away a signed copy of Courting Morrow Little upon its release in June. So if you'd like to be in the running, please pop over and comment. Pepper is a gifted writer herself and has one of the best blogs out there. She's been spotlighting authors recently, asking Liz Curtis Higgs and Kaye Dacus and others the very interesting question of what makes a good kiss come alive in the pages of a book. So hope to see you there! Happy Friday:)

LOVE that picture, Laura!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Ruth:) Thanks so much for saying so! The clothing, the posture, the background - would make an outstanding book cover!
ReplyDeleteI agree with, Ruth. You find the BEST photos for your posts. :)
ReplyDeleteoooo..... he's really leaning in there for that kiss, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lori. Strangely enough, I tried to find this pic again to enlarge and couldn't:( Sigh. So will just enjoy the miniature version. I love everything about it, too! Decidedly 18th-century stuff!
ReplyDeleteWho invented kissing anyway?! Thanks for looking, Lisa. I'd give anything to have the woman's gown and hat!
ReplyDeleteI like that pic, too! I'm heading over to Pepper's place.
ReplyDeleteCarla, Thanks so much. You are so busy so it means so very much! Guess I have the market on "so" and "much" but I really mean it:) Pepper is a lot of fun!
ReplyDeletehow fun! I'll head over and check it out...
ReplyDeleteHeather, Bless you! It's always so interesting to see who stops by - and I'm so happy it's you:)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the kissing question and answer over at Pepper's. I think you nailed the scene in TFD!
ReplyDeleteI hope I can come up with good questions when I have you as a guest on my blog!
I could not see a place to leave a comment on her blog :(
ReplyDeleteGuess I am just not real good at finding where to leave comments on some blogs...maybe next time.
I am still having my sale in my blog plus I am now offering 20% off on all my pincushions...Check out my update on my pups when you get time
Hugs.......Nancy
Nancy, Thanks so much for trying! I have a hard time leaving comments myself sometimes, even on my own blog:) I'm not very computer savvy, I'm afraid. Since I'm a big fan of your crafts I'll come over. And I hope your doggies are well and the one is doing much better!
ReplyDeleteMary, I have no doubt you'll think up some wonderful ones of your own:) Can't wait! That waterfall scene kind of snuck up on me in TFD. Didn't plan on that happening and am glad you think it worked! It is one of my favorite scenes. And I have a few favorites in CML, too, and hope you'll agree. Bless you for going over to Pepper's!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the pic too!! Do you know what the pic is from??
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie!
ReplyDeleteI got the picture from Flickr! which you many know about - it's a free site where you can upload great photos like this one. Funny thing is, I saved this one last year and when I did this post I went back and tried to find it to make it larger and now I can't find it at all. It is such a lovely photo, too! Thanks for asking:)
Thanks, Laura!! The pic is so beautiful, I love it :)
ReplyDeleteCarrie, You are so welcome! I'm sorry I was late responding as I have had some trouble with blogger comments coming through lately. Thanks for stopping by!
